Hamadryad is a biannual journal that publishes original papers dealing with the herpetology of tropical Asia as broadly construed. Papers in the fields of systematics (phylogenetic and/or taxonomic), faunistics, ecology, and behaviour are published as are reviews of relevant books and major papers. Subscribers receive access to back issues of the journal, which has now completed 35 volumes. Hamadryad has an international editorial board and follows a rigorous peer review process. It is a publication of the Madras Crocodile Bank Trust (Chennai, India).
Issues from 2009 through 2013 are available to subscribers of Hamadryad only.
